Slow Yoga is a functional and sustainable way to move the body, freeing up physical tension, finding space and returning to ease. The session ends with a 15 minute relaxation practice. Tues | 6.00-7.15pm | Pregnancy Yoga & Birth Preparation @ Ekam Studio, Camborne This class is open to those who are pregnant from 16 weeks onwards. A chance to meet and discuss your pregnancy with others, to move in ways which encourage relief from the common symptoms of pregnancy and encourage optimal positioning of your baby. We’ll practice breath work and visualisations which can be used to support the delivery of your baby and finish the session with a deeply nurturing relaxation. Book Here |
Tues | 7.45-9.00pm | Hatha Yoga Foundations @ Ekam Studio, Camborne An accessible Hatha Yoga class suitable for beginners and those who enjoy a slow and mindful way of moving within traditional yoga poses and sun salutations. Movement, Mindfulness & Meditation for all. Book Here |
Thurs | 9.30-10.45am | Gentle Hatha Yoga & Yoga Nidra, Hayle & Online via Zoom Movement, Mindfulness & Meditation. Encouraging exploratory movement within the structure of Hatha Yoga. The session ends with a 30 minute Yoga Nidra practice (Yogic Sleep) a guided & systematic approach to deep relaxation & meditation. Friday | 7.00 – 8.30pm | Restorative Yoga & Yoga Nidra Monthly Special @ Ekam Studio, Camborne (Last Friday of the Month, starting September 2021) Restorative Yoga is a passive practice which uses bolsters, blankets and blocks to support the body to ease gently in to the pose. The sessions aim to calm the nervous system and restore the senses. Yoga Nidra (or yogic sleep) is a guided systematic meditation taken laying down in warmth and comfort.
